Your tan will need a minimum of two hours to develop, so chill out, chuck on a show and enjoy that delicious thing you received when you left the salon. Please avoid water and getting your spray tan splashed prior to it developing. This includes rain, tears or any liquid coming into contact with your spray tan. If you find yourself in this predicament, contact me right away!
Two hours after your tan is the perfect time to rinse, but if you'd like a deeper result, you can develop for up to six hours, depending on your preference.
Quickly wash for one minute in luke warm water only - NO SOAP for your first shower! Using your hands, gently brush the water down your body until it runs clear. That's not your spray tan washing away, it's the bronzer only.
Gently pat (do not rub) your skin dry with a towel and wear loose fitting clothes while your tan develops. Avoid swimming pools, exercise/sweating, perfume, deodorant and products that contain any oils for at least 12 hours after your tan.
Your glow will start to develop and begin to peak within 24 hours. This generally coincides with raging confidence and a fair amount of hair flicking.
Apply a tan-friendly soap during your next shower. Avoid abrasive products or sponges as these will damage your glow. Pat skin dry after each shower, then moisturise daily throughout the duration of your tan, for a long-lasting, gradually fading result.
I hope you love your glow! xo
